    • Vital Bridge (China), Inc., Bridge's facility in Beijing, is one of only seven toxicology facilities in China to receive this recognition, and Bridge is the first US-based company to offer toxicology services in multispecies at both locations in the US and China.

     

    Bridge is a US-headquartered preclinical contract-research organization (CRO) focusing on providing US-regulatory compliant drug development services in the US and Asia. Currently Bridge operates the largest vivarium and US-level compliant pharmaceutical drug testing lab in China. Bridge China provides US-quality animal supplies, facilities and equipment validation, English only data acquisition, fully validated software, and report writing, rigorous attention to confidentiality, IP and IT protection, as well as significant cost savings.

     

    In 2006, Bridge acquired Gene Logic Laboratories, located in the US. Gene Logic Laboratories has a 15-year history of US-level GLP drug development. Bridge global capabilities include nearly all aspects of preclinical development, including bioanalytical, safety pharmacology, developmental and reproductive toxicology (DART), carcinogenicity testing, vaccine development, pathology by US board certified pathologists, and US level GLP compliant toxicology in all major species. Currently Bridge has more than 300 employees in the US and China.

     
    The Bridge (China) Inc. laboratory is an approximately 84,000 square-foot, purpose-built laboratory with full barrier animal rooms with HEPA filter of 10,000 class and conventional large animal rooms with pre and media filters, a formulation area, a diet preparation area, necropsy rooms, an aseptic surgery suite, and a yellow-light laboratory with archival storage offered in a separate area. The animal facility, the server room and the archive refrigerator/freezer have a complete emergency backup power system. In addition, the server room has its own uninterrupted power supply. A second vivarium of 60 large animal rooms is under construction and is adjacent to this first facility.
