    The Beijing office, which was officially established in 1993, has long been recognized as having the pre-eminent China practice. In addition to that, the PRC Ministry of Justice confirmed on December 16, 2002, its approval for the opening of the Shanghai office of Baker & McKenzie. The Shanghai office allows it to better meet the increasing demands of its domestic and international clients in relation to international legal issues.
