    URC Shanghai was founded in 1998 and provides pharmaceutical customers with insights into the consumer health segment of the pharmaceutical market. Recognized as a market leader in China, URC Shanghai has operations in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou and is highly regarded for its comprehensive coverage of the OTC market -- offering syndicated Consumer Health market research audits as well as consulting services. 

     

    United Research China is formed by bringing together some of the most experienced market research professionals in China and several distinguished overseas consultants.

     
    Two of its founders set up and operated Guangzhou Market Research (GMR), the very first market research organization in China in 1988. In 1992 they formed the first market research joint venture in China with an international research company. They have managed the JV in Guangzhou until early 1996. In 1996, United Research China was set up in Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing with the participation of over 30 well qualified and experienced market research practitioners.
