Executives spend many hours creating business strategies that align with the goals and operating philosophy of the organization. While setting the course is a significant responsibility, perhaps the greatest responsibility and challenge for executives is guiding the journey toward the end-in-mind.

Executives are in a time and resource crunch that leads to the question; "What methods do I use and how do I find time to effectively guide my business unit or team so that we accomplish the things that are most important to the organization?" This workshop focuses on the role of executives to influence the execution of key business strategies which will improve and sustain important business outcomes.

Who should attend: Executives and managers in key positions who are held accountable for improving and sustaining the organization's business outcomes and key performance measures (KPM's KPI's).

    Attendees will:
    • IDENTIFY the key role of executives in managing business outcomes.
      - Examine two ways to get to the end-in-mind.
      - Finding your way to success through leadership: Myth or reality?
      - What comes first?
      - What the road map to success looks like.
      - Managing team execution and outcomes with focused effort and speed that leaves you with the time and energy to address other issues that are also important.
    • DISTINGUISH between "talent management" and "performance management" and move beyond the buzz words to achieve results now.
    • EXAMINE the vital differences between quantitative and qualitative data and IDENTIFY how each contributes to managing key business strategies and metrics.
    • EXAMINE the Five Axioms of Performance that motivate and shape an individual's attitude and willingness to execute and LEARN how to put them into management practice to engage your organization or team.
    • DEVELOP an EXECUTIVE PLAN to manage the Five Key Factors of Effective Execution and Accountability that will achieve your strategic initiatives and move important business metrics (bring your organization's key goals and strategies to the workshop).
    • APPLY some quick and easy performance tools to identify performance issues and guide your team's performance (you can quickly teach your team how to use these tools).
    • NAVIGATE the Five Stages of Metrics Behavior to focus your team's execution on the right things.
    • APPLY THE ACID TEST to assess any 'support department' to identify the performance issues they must address as they provide services to help your business unit or team succeed.
