While outcomes research and comparative effectiveness research in health care are increasingly valued in the US government, academia, and industry, the Chinese clinicians and scholars have also been increasingly interested in establishing process to better integrate the real world evidence into the real-life medical practice. CORE Summit (China Outcomes Research & Evidence Based Medicine) is organized by Chinese Medical Doctor Association (CMDA) and VitalStrategic Research Institute (VSRI) and is intended to create a platform where the government leaders, academicians, clinicians, and industry leaders could conjoin their vision and believes, policies and evidence, and thereby stimulate and reinforce the practice of evidence based medicine.
