Frontier Healthcare Communications (www.med-front.com), a sister company of Pharma China, announced the appointment of Dianping (James) Yang as its new General Manager.

Before joining Frontier, Yang was the General Manager of Gansu Jiuzhao Pharma, a Chinese pharmaceutical company based in Gansu province with operations in Beijing.  Yang started his career with the pharmaceutical industry in mid-1990s as a sales executive (rising to Beijing area sales manager) with MSD China and he later moved Yamanouchi China in 2001 as product manager, group product manager and marketing director. Subsequently, he became in 2004 the marketing director of Gan & Lee Pharma, a leading Chinese insulin manufacturer, and built the company's sales and marketing operations from scratch. Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry in 1997, Yang had 12 years experience as a researcher, investigator and official with Beijing Municipal Center for Disease Control (Beijing CDC).

Mr. Yang has a MD degree from Beijing No.2 Medical College (Now Capital Medical University) and a MBA degree from University of International Business and Trade.
