    Astra Zeneca announced sales of RMB 1.1 billion in the first half 9/19/2005
    Astra Zeneca announced in August its performance in China in the first half of 2005.  The company’s sales reached over RMB 1.1 billion in the period, up by 38%.  The total sales of the company in China this year is expected to be RMB 2 billion, according to the President of Astra Zeneca’s China business.  He also revealed that the company plans to increase US$35 million investment in its manufacturing facility in Wuxi to expand production and strengthen development of China’s OTC market.
