Tokyo, May 30, 2006 (JCN) - LTT Bio-Pharma has agreed with Mikasa Seiyaku and Beijing Tide Pharmaceutical on the development and sale of adhesive preparations in China.

Under the agreement terms, the three parties will jointly develop analgesic poultices for both ethical (prescription) and over-the-counter use by following Mikasa Seiyaku's proprietary products, Zepolas (ethical drug) and Zenol (over-the-counter drug).

Going forward, Beijing Tide Pharmaceutical will conduct clinical trials in China and file a new drug application in 2007. Currently, analgesic poultices for ethical use are not distributing in China.
