Mr. Nie current serves as the CEO of CITIC Pharmaceuticals, which generated around $300 million in revenue last year. Mr. Nie also holds the position of Chairman for Hainan CITIC Biopharmaceutical Development Company, which is the major Influenza vaccine distributor within China. Hainan CITIC Biopharmaceutical Development was responsible for the distribution of $6 million in Influenza vaccines in China last year for Chiron Vaccines. Before entering the commercial sector, Mr. Nie held a position as an official with China's CDC (Center for Disease Control).
