    Searainbow Receives First Online Medicine Wholesale License 5/16/2006
    Hainan-based conglomerate SeaRainbow Holding (000503.SH) received China's first online medicine wholesales license on May 10, reports people.com.cn. With the license, Searainbow can now conduct third-party business to business pharmaceutical transactions. The license is good until April 29, 2011. Beijing based drug store Jing Wei received China's first license to sell pharmaceuticals directly to customers on December 29, 2005.
