Following the arrest of a number of senior officials at the SFDA, the Displinary Inspection Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (DICCCP) appointed Mr. Qu Shuhui to become the new Director of its Displinary Inspection Office stationing at the SFDA.  The former director, Mr. Yang Baoxiang, was quietly removed without specifying reasons.

DICCCP has a network of displinary inspection offices at all Chinese government agencies which are responsible for anti-corruption and related issues.  Recent corruption scandals at the SFDA is just another example how ineffectve and incompetent this internal anti-corruption system is.
