Wicon International Group, the publisher of Pharma China, is pleased to announce the appointment of Luke Treloar to the position of Vice President, Business Development and Editorial Consultant for Pharma China.

Prior to joining Wicon, Luke was most recently Vice President, China Operations at SPBD Consulting Group, a New York-based investment consultancy firm.  He was manager, corporate communications at Wuxi PharmaTech between 2006 and 2007 and a NIH-sponsored research fellow at Wake Forest Baptist Medical School between 2002-2004.

Luke speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese. He has a BS in Biology-Medical Science from Guidford College, North Carolina and completed a one-year graduate program on foreign direct investment in China at the Center for American-Chinese Studies under Nanjing University/Johns Hopkins University.

Luke will be responsible for developing new healthcare communication projects under Wicon/Pharma China, marketing of Pharma China publications outside mainland China and to pharma service companies and foreign governments and trade associations in China.
