    Pharmaniaga China unit opens plant 3/9/2006
    PHARMANIAGA Bhd joint venture firm in China, Wuxi Worldbest Treeful Pharma Pharmaceutical Co Ltd (WWTPP), opened its large-volume intravenous manufacturing plant yesterday.


    WWTPP's facility has an annual production capacity of 20 million to 30 million bottles/bags, which is expected to reach 100 million bottles/bags in three years, Pharmaniaga's managing director Azhar Hussain said.

    He said with the company's 40 per cent stake in WWTPP, it could expects to see its contribution to its bottom line from 2007 onwards.

     

    Pharmanaga Bhd is the largest integrated healthcare company in Malaysia.
