Hyderabad -- A Symposium on ''Opportunities for growth and Development in the Indo-China Pharmaceutical Industry'' will be held under the aegis of Richmond Chemical Corporation(RCC), USA, and Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (SIOC), China, at Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) here tomorrow.
Talking to newsmen here, Richmond Chemical Corporation Private Limited Managing Director D Raghuraman said that with the objective of promoting the channels of communication for the exchange of innovative ideas among Chinese and Indian scientists and industry leaders, the symposium will provide a forum for presentation, specific discussions on chemical research and technology transfer, and open sessions for networking and exchanging of ideas.
The SIOC is involved in numerous collaborative projects with national and foreign enterprises. It has set up cooperative and commercial relationships with over ten trans-national chemical and pharmaceutical companies from Europe, America and Japan, he added.
Referring to the symposium, Mr Raghuraman said the one-day symposium would be inaugurated IICT Director Dr Yadav. He said SIOC Director Prof Jiang Biao and Richmond Chemical Corporation CEO Sunil Srivastava would be participating in the seminar.
