    SDRC to introduce a “Provisions for State Price-setting of Drug Products” in 2006 11/4/2005
    The Commission is developing a “Provisions for State Price-setting of Drug Products” which will be issued in the first half of 2006.   The new regulation will be developed based on three principles:

    1.       The drug pricing system will be a classified pricing system which will price patent products and originator products based on individually, and price generic products uniformly;

    2.       The drug pricing system will allow preferential pricing of better-quality products; and

    3.       Reasonable ratios will be proposed for sales and marketing, distribution, and others.
